Flesh of My Flesh

The Chicago Streets

Project Info:

My debut self published book. I spent a month in Chicago for my Lyme disease treatment and during my time in between treatments I got out as much as I could to document the streets. After accumulating all of my work and coming home, I decided to create something from it. Throughout my time there in the city, I documented a lot of homelessness. I decided to use these images to try and make a difference. Half of the proceeds from this book went directly to buying clothes and gear. I was able to raise over 500 dollars. Something I am still very proud of to this day.

This book was shot entirely on my Leica M7, and Cinestill BWXX 35mm film stock.

Limited to 100 copies.

The sale of this book has been finalized, it is no longer available for purchase.

Below are some outtakes that didn’t make the final cut for the book.
